Premise is quickly wearing thin with me. Another small emotional case, this time about a good old coach who goes temporarily berserk stoically refusing to reveal his reason for assaulting boy's parent after benching boy. Okay, this is well-done, but borders on schmaltzy, then again, don't pay too much heed to me in any off- putting way, as I am merely a Sarah Shahi fan, and really cannot be damned about the story itself. I will point out that at least that boring brother at least doesn't appear, Ethan Embry or something like that had the week off, hope more to follow. The Leo character, the other useless one, still bums about collecting a paycheck for basically just being there. In this, the third episode, Kate doesn't get cuffed/incarcerated whatever, it was a trend in the first two. There is, however, again a wake up disheveled in bed scene like in the pilot.
The ridiculous scene with her in the boys locker room was pointless and unexplained, suggesting its very existence only to show some beefcake. FAIRLY LEGAL obviously appeals to the Cosmopolitan city girl set. Oh, for sure, that sums up the show. It's ridiculous because what the hell was her motivation? She didn't enter for any tawdry reason, she was on to something, she damn well knew who was in charge, why did she have to pander to the men to find out? Answer: so the producers could include beefcake. Well, what's sauce for the goose...
However much I criticize, I know at the back of my mind it is a good show. It's really just not for guys. Unless they read Cosmopolitan for the articles...
