Sex & Nudity

  • A girl flashes someone
  • Mentions of "making out"
  • There are sequential sensual plots involving scholar flirts, kisses and some mild indirect reflections of tounge-kissing. Kinda mature.
  • Mild kisses but it doesnt go too far

Violence & Gore

  • There is also lots of fighting and action violence throughout the series. In the second season, the violence is less frequent yet more intense
  • Surprisingly, this is the first Disney Channel series to have a lot of action in each episode and to obtain a TV-PG
  • Blood is shown, in every single episode, but not in violent terms.
  • The series involves mostly vampires. They suck people's blood but it is rarely onscreen
  • This series is frightening andd may be chilling for some.

Profanity

  • The Canadian version features occasional use of words like 'crap' or 'suck' that are edited out of the Disney Channel version. One scene in the Canadian version features comically bleeped out cursing.
  • In one episode, a girl named Erica gets in to cheerleading Sarah said "don't bite anyone" so Erica says "why they've been telling me to bite them for years" implying adult terms "biteme" or "bite my ass" the phrase "bite me" refers to ("Bite me" can also just indicate annoyance in a totally non-sexual way).

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There are lots of scary moments throughout the series. Every episode is different
  • The series is mostly set out on night.
  • In an episode, there is a violent plague of zombie mutants. Frightening and mildly intense.
