Danilo Di Julio's first budgeted film. He wrote the script in two and a half hours and entered it in a script writing contest on Filmaka.com for DirecTV, it was one of 20 scripts out of hundreds of entries worldwide that received a meager $5,000 budget and Mr. Di Julio brought it in on time.
Danilo Di Julio: [subtle reveal] Danilo Di Julio enjoys including a shot in his films that is misleading or slightly revealing without being a 'Red Herring'. He will shoot off of the reflection of a microwave door on tight focus and panning back, so at first the audience is unsure of where the view is coming from. In 'Jack and Jill' he uses a shot through a large aquarium using a near ground focus to focus on the fish but in the far ground reveal Jack's entry into the DirecTV store (out of focus).
