Beautifully Filmed scenery of WV... & a lot of Scare to go with it!

Warning: Spoilers
This independent film did a wonderful job showcasing Wild Wonderful West Virginia scenery. To be the opening film of the West Virginia Filmmakers Festival Matt Walker's Scarlet Rain did not disappoint. Debuted in Sutton WV at the historic Elk Theater; you left the theater hoping it wasn't raining outside and wondering if it was raining if it was Scarlet in color. Sarah Snyder and Jonathan Shea portrayed as brother and sister twins, Dotty and Ted, did a great job keeping you biting your nails till very end. (no spoilers given) The ghostly twins gave a new definition to "the little black dress". They were so in sync that at times you had to wonder if they were real. or were they...

Cool, unique film

What a cool movie! I've never seen a horror film with identical twins as the scary ghost killers! I checked "spoiler", but it's not really since it's not a secret for very long as to who the killers are. You find out pretty fast, and then the rest of the story unfolds as to why the twins are on a killing spree. I liked the accents in the film too. I assume they are West Virginia accents since that's where this was filmed.. Dotty's accent is really cute. It's neat too that all the women play such strong characters as it tended to be the men who were scared of everything. All-in-all, this was a unique (interesting killings and dialogue), often funny, and entertaining film. I also really enjoyed the West Virginia creepy scenery and the original score.
