When George learns that his father has died he decides that he must attend the funeral even though he hasn't seen his family since he became a werewolf three years before. To avoid meeting his mother he watches the procedure from afar and is a little surprise to find that his father is watching too! George explains to him that he is a ghost and that he is probably hasn't passed on because he has unfinished business in this world. While George is dealing with his father Mitchell receives a visit from a policewoman who is investigating the Box Tunnel murders; he isn't a suspect but has received a tip of suggesting he knows something about the killings.
This was another gripping episode of what is possibly the best series to originate on BBC3; the story with George and his father was both touching and at times laugh out loud funny. The story involving Mitchell and the policewoman provided a good counter balance in that it was much darker and more than once it looked as if violence could erupt at any minute. As usual the four regular cast members put in good performances and James Fleet made a nice guest appearance as George's father. With only two episodes remaining in the current series things are shaping up nicely for a thrilling conclusion.
