Warning: Spoilers
Jonathan is contacted by Richard Hawkes, a college professor, that is facing a dilemma. He is a junkie, but that is not why he wants Jonathan's help. All he is interested in is to rescue his original copy of "On the Road" by Jack Kerouac. He had given the book to his dope seller telling him the novel could bring in about one thousand dollars, if sold to a collector. The reality is the book could fetch seventy five thousand dollars, something that could help Hawkes to buy a badly needed wheel chair, and bring something extra for his retirement.

What Jonathan did not expect to find was his archenemy, Louis Green, as he is about to follow the drug dealer that has come to make a drop to Professor Hawkes. The ongoing feud between Jonathan and Louis is legendary. Now, trying to get rid of the obnoxious Green, Jonathan spots the man he is supposed to follow. The subway ride brings Jonathan to a building whose basement houses the criminal lab. When Jonathan is discovered spying outside, he is brought in. The dealers trying to shake him see Louis peering through the same window, and nab him. Jonathan sees and opportunity to escape by grabbing into some dope and the book. He and Louis are followed through the park, where Jonathan overwhelms the three assailant. He must help Louis, who fell and injured himself.

George gets the visit of Kathryn, an executive of the magazine. She explains to him he must submit to an urine test because the company wants all employees to be tested for drugs. He is panicking because he figures he will be found positive for he still has traces of marijuana in his system. As much as he tries, he cannot get away from the problem, so when Kathryn returns to ask his explanation for having tampered with the test, George decides to fess up about his prostrate cancer, the sole reason for him smoking dope.

In the meantime, Ray is seen going to the comics store to get paid for his latest work. Seeing Leah in the distance, he tries to avoid meeting her, but it is too late. After she leaves, he goes inside where he meets a fan that loved his latest effort. To celebrate, he goes into a bar where he sits at a bar. The only other person is an attractive woman dressed in red. Ray asks the bartender to give her a drink. After, Ray and the lady go to his place. As she is about to leave, Ray warns her not to flush the toilet.

Another funny episode in this wonderful series. HBO shows a knack for creating adult programming with some intelligence, instead of the usual fare the other networks give their viewers. Michael Lehmann directed the episode that was written by the creator together with Donick Cary. The acting is what you might expect from a program such as this. Jason Schartzman, Zach Galiafinakis, and Ted Danson do a marvelous ensemble work. The guests for this chapter included Mary Kay Place, F. Murray Abraha, John Hodgman, Kristen Wiig, and Heather Burns.
