This was filmed in 2017, the thirty year anniversary of 'The Lost Boys.'
Samantha 'Spike' Vaughn Hoerner was originally cast as Star (and would sing the end credits version of "Cry Little Sister"), but due to a scheduling conflict, was only able to help with Hair and Make-Up. Fortunately, the Production Designer, Sophia Rodes, not only resembled Jami Gertz, but also had acting experience and is a classically trained opera singer.
The idea for this film started as a joke when someone told Director Johnny Bilson that he looked like Paul from 'The Lost Boys,' and friend Oren Studer mentioned his own resemblance to Kiefer Sutherland by referring to him as his 'dad.'
The tattoo seen in actress Savannah Rayne's head shot which reads "Lost Girl" is not fake, nor is it a reference to this film or its planned follow up 'The Lost Girls.' Savannah got the tattoo because she loves 'Peter Pan,' which is also where 'The Lost Boys' got its title, which this title references.
David's costume is made entirely of items out of Writer/Director Johnny Bilson's closet, down to the gloves, because that's just how Johnny dresses all the time.
