Does not disappoint

I found this podcast on Spotify and it was incredible. I think it is a new release. I am used to discovering cool podcasts, but this was a real surprise. I am a fan of mystery podcasts and I enjoyed the story and the mystery. It was filled with some good twists and turns. The characters are interesting and filled with a famous cast who well performed. I was really surprised to hear cool added effects and a soundtrack. I usually like only a few aspects of these type of podcasts, but this one held my attention in all aspects. The acting and the sound effects were really incredible. When I listened, I felt like I was there with them. It felt like a more elevated podcast experience. This offered way more than I expected. I am going to have to search for other celebrity podcasts to listen to now.

Well done

I have a lot of admiration for Brooke Lewis Bellas as I have been an avid fan for many years. I will check out anything she acts in as she is an excellent actress in a variety of different roles. I know she has also done voice acting over the years so I had to listen to this podcast. I am not typically a podcast person so I was not sure what to expect but I was blown away. It was really good. I was pleasantly surprised to hear this cast from Brooke Lewis Bellas and Bronson Pinchot? Excellent. I was really impressed with the music and sound effects too. Excellent. I hope Brooke gets to read this as she is just one quality class act.

A real winner

A Voice in Violet podcast is Hollywood gold. I follow Brooke Lewis Bellas and her projects whether big or small budgets. From the sound of this, I am guessing it was a big one. This literally has all the bells and whistles. All the elements are in place. I learned of this director Curt Wiser from here, so I will have to look at his other work because the script was wonderful. The cast, I cannot say enough. Brooke Lewis Bellas as Violet is perfection. I read the cast as I listened and was floored by this famous cast Brooke, (THE) Bronson Pinchot, Nikki Blonsky, Eric Etebari, Nelson Lee and Wilson Jermaine Heredia a Tony Winner! Perfection. I was hooked on this singer Fawn's songs and will need to find more of them to listen to. All music was perfection. I gave this one a 10 as it deserves. I hope this podcast brings us more episodes.

A surprising little gem

Having been a fan of Brooke Lewis Bellas, I decided to give this a try because I needed something to listen to on the drive to and from work. I ended up so addicted I listened to it on all my breaks and free time until I finished. Brooke does a great job of bringing to life the character Violet, a talented singer who's been screwed by life. Brooke brings out Violet's ambition, inner turmoil, anger, bitterness, and heartbreak. What this character had gone through was so messed up, and Brooke made me feel for her. I expected the drama I received from this podcast and the twists. It made it fun. I didn't expect the tone to turn dark. It reminded me of one of my favorite movies American Mary.

The entire cast was great. I didn't realize who they were until I checked out IMDb. Nikki Blonsky was hella fun. I really didn't recognize Bronson Pinchot even after learning what role he played. He was a chameleon. My favorite actor besides Brooke was Eric Etebari. Great story and acting.

With that said I wasn't a fan of the ending. It felt abrupt. It felt like there was supposed to be more but maybe they just ran out of money and had to come up with a quick end. I hope there's another season to follow up with the events of the ending.

Also, my bigger issue was that, unlike an audiobook that explains actions, you're mostly relying on sound effects and some exposition to explain what's happening. At times confusion was minor but by the end, I was very lost at what was happening. It's why I gave this a 9 instead of a 10.
