This film is an excellent and disturbing look into the world of a serial arsonist and how his actions affect an innocent family. I loved the fast pace of the story, yet attention to detail, that really made this a memorable film. You will want to watch it more than once to appreciate the depth of the story. This is an American retelling of an incident that happened in England many years ago. Names and places have been changed, but not the gist of the story. A source in England confirms that this really took place. The actors, especially the child actors, were uniformly excellent in their parts. I'd love to see this short expanded into a feature film for more character development and to explore what happens to the main characters over time. The writing, direction and production were outstanding.
