Love this Monty Python type movie about Swedish Vikings. Don't expect a historic description, it is a mix between a love story and a comedy.
One of the main characters Osvald is a pleasant but very cowardly viking that falls in love with the beautiful Hildegun. She on the other hand is very impressed by more heroic vikings. In order to gain Hildegun's love Osvald tries to become more heroic.
The cast is fantastic. Per Andersson is a terrific narrator in the movie.
The movie made me laugh out loud.
