Maybe the best episode of the show so far

I'm in love with this episode. This episode is so expertly written and calculated with its editing to truly complement the comedy and storyline of the story. The A story of the step team is so well directed and shows off the unconventional chemistry between put main characters.

The B story was a standout with Gregory's Pizza subplot which was hysterical. But the cherry on top of this is the cast ensemble that brings these characters to life, as the MVPs of this episode were Tyler James Williams and Janelle James. Great episode!

The more Ava, the better.

First episode, she definitely wasn't on the short list of favorites. But since the third episode at most, her character is so funny. Like every single scene she's in is awesome.

This episode focused on her so much and it didn't disappoint. And we even get to see a soft side as well. I loved it.

Love the character development

Not only is it fun to see Gregory have another goofy side to him (and the other characters' acceptance) - but my real favorite part of this was seeing the character I never imagined (Ava) having a serious moment actually getting some depth ! I feel like often on shows, characters like Ava remain one-note so it bodes well for the show that these characters are going to continue to be developed. Love it!
