Farnsworth goes evolution on everybody's asses! Warning: Spoilers
This is by far the best episode this far in the new Futurama season. I have not really enjoyed the new Futurama before this. This episode is devoted to the hypocrisy of creationist and religious fanatics who just don't listen to science, or to be more exact; evolution. This episode explores the idiotic arguments of the anti evolutionists "Wheres the missing link between the former missing link" presented by an orangutan. Farnsworth gets angry with all the nonsense so he makes some nonsense of his own, but in the end Farnsworth goes evolution on everybody's asses! Its the most interesting episode yet by far. And I at least cant wait to see what more they got in store to next time!

Evolution of the Robots
Tweekums18 August 2017
Warning: Spoilers
When Cubert announces that he is off school because of protests by creationists he is unimpressed by their ignorance. Despite him listing a string of 'missing links' between humanity and its ape-like ancestors Dr Banjo, a denier of evolution, who is himself an ape, refuses to accept the theory… even after Farnsworth finds another missing link. Bender says that he believes in evolution; in fact he states that robots evolved… something the Professor mocks. Farnsworth declares that he doesn't want to live on this planet any more so leaves. Moving to a lifeless world he releases nanobots to clean the water. These evolve at a startling rate and we see a robotic world following a similar evolutionary history to Earth but over a matter of days. While this is going on Zoidberg is looking after Cubert back on Earth.

This episode had some fine moments, especially after they leave Earth and the robo-evolution starts. The earlier scenes featuring the creationists were a bit weaker though as they are just too easy a target to be amusingly mocked. The fossil dig provides some good laughs and there is a nice reference back to 'Jurassic Park'. The scenes between Zoidberg and Cubert are moderately funny too. Overall I'd say this might not be the most memorable episode but it has enough laughs to make it worth watching.

This is clearly a pro-evolution episode

I'm saying this in regard of another (negative) review, that somehow got the exact opposite message from it.

The episode was also very smart and funny and really set the tone for this new era of Futurama.

From a hardcore morbian - not a single chuckle. Nothing.

Warning: Spoilers
If you love Futurama and wish to continue to do so, please skip this episode. In fact, skip the review below and the episode, and you might still enjoy the show (if they never do this again.)

This episode is a murdoch-ordered proselytism instructing us, the viewers, precisely how we too can, nay =must=, believe in "intelligent design" and the plausibility of a 7,000 year old earth.

The network that tells us who to vote for, who to hate and why and how much, who to vilify, who to accuse, who to brand as an enemy of the network, and requires us to believe with all our hearts and souls that the fruits of all labours of the world belongs in as few hands as possible - now brings us this unrepentantly ideological insult.

Until recently, I have had some small admiration for this network's subtlety, its sleight-of-hand behind the ideological inculcation and indoctrination of viewers using extraordinarily well-written and produced series', both live and animated. The technique was rarely heavy-handed, it just nudged viewers with functioning minds along a gentle drift into pride in ignorance, and the inevitably pursuant fringes of the right wing. Apparently now the minds behind this stuff no longer care, no longer feel any need to cajole you into a specific belief system - they're just outright dictating your beliefs to you with this sort of bald-faced tea-bagger training-video.

What made this series so wonderful was how it drew in the techie and geek demographics but included enough of an ensemble that everyone could relate somehow. To push so aggressively an ideological package which requires suspension of all reason is a grave insult to the intelligence of the viewers. I am deeply saddened. If further episodes repeat such ham-fisted propagandizing, I'm afraid that it may be the end for my favourite animated series of all time. A dark day for Groening fans and Futurama junkies. I am as certain as possible that Matt did not write a word of this episode, and that he either was not allowed any input, or refused to participate. Which is why there is not a single chortle to be had.
