Too much Kaley
rann_rushing3 May 2022
I have always been a fan of Kaley, but four is too much. Such a great cast of actors, so give them a chance to shine. Also, to the writers, who answers every phone call, regardless of whatever ridiculous situation they are facing?

"You look so familiar, have we met?"

Nice meta joke!

Delighted to see the fabulous Michelle Gomez, she lifts everything she is in. Together with an improved pace and considerably more exciting plot, this is a much better episode.

An excellent ending draws me forward to next time ...

Miranda Croft

That's it. That's all that's needs to be said. I love this show, but let's be real Miranda (alongside Cassie of course!) carries the entire show. So glad to see she's back and I so hope we haven't seen the last of her this season.

Short of Ideas

I feel we are now treading water. The main characters are just running around hystericaly episode after episode with only little bits of plot furtherance dropped in now and again. Too many Cassie talking to Cassie moments and too many 'must resist alcohol' moments. All filler and nothing much else.

Starting to go downhill

Seemed like lots of needless running around that does not advance the plot. Seems like filler and new characters introduced for no good reason. Hate these US dramas and the need to have an A and B plots and engineer cliff hangers.

On the decline

Thought episode one was good, I started noticing a fair few continuity errors and parts where it asks you to overlook way to much unlikely stuff. The writings become very lazy, granted the situations are insane but the odds they keep hitting finding certain things or people are like lottery winning odds, ridiculous.

I genuinely cannot stand the lawyer girl, she's the worst kinda character, the silly narrations, the trying way to hard to seem a mess, that whole interview skit! It's just lazy boring and I was hoping she was one of those bodies!

It has so many interesting angles but doing none of them well, it's tried to follow the first but is more a corny knock off.

The end of this episode infuriated me, yes I know self sabotaging but it made just so little sense just felt an excuse for her to whip the plastics out, it was nonsensical, the dude wasn't even after her, lazy, stupid writing that's too shallow and does the show zero justice.

I feel this will and should be the last season of this before it becomes just a parody, there's too much non communication, immaturity and frankly illogical rubbish that means it's gone from chaotic fun to trash.

Episode 204

Warning: Spoilers
Another pretty underwhelming episode of the show. I like the goofy comedy, I don't like the goofy "gals struggling with the situation" stuff we got a plenty of here.
