I don't know that I care much for Sherri, but I can see why they took the route they did with this character so far. Being someone who was a child for some of the 90s and all of the 00s, she looks and acts much like some of my own past neighbors and me mom's friends. Hoping there is more to her than just the whole dating scene later, seeing as she'll likely be a reoccurring character.
I didn't mention this in my other reviews, but the acting in this show isn't actually that bad. The returning actors from the first series comfortably for back in to their roles again, but some of the new teen actors are actually good too. Callie Haverda is solid, as is Ashley Aufderheide.
This isn't great so far, but it's much better than I thought it'd be, and some of it got some laughs from me. It probably won't reach the heights of the original series, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
