- Neal finally has a deal to get access to the music-box, on condition he can meet the thief without his ankle device. He hopes to pull that off when given 'on loan' within the FBI to rising star June, whom Peter rightly mistrusts as a ruthless career bitch. She practically ignores Neal's consultant input, her real angle being to offer 'a meeting with him' as ransom to the kidnapper of Lindsay, the teenage daughter of tycoon Gless, whom Neal conned earlier. As Peter feared, Neal is kidnapped himself by vindictive 'colleague' Ryan Wilkes, and forced to do the dirty work in another crime. Peter and Mozzie must save Neal and find Lindsay.—KGF Vissers
- An ambitious FBI agent (guest star Diane Neal) and two former adversaries are a dangerous combination for Neal when he is asked to help with a kidnapping case. He has to find a way to keep his new FBI contact happy while not being killed by a former business partner that he swindled, as he helps to find the daughter of the CEO of the company whose bonds he forged on the case he was jailed for. Neal uses his charm to get the info the kidnapper wants in Round 1, then Mozzie and Neal run a classic scam to get what the kidnappers want in Round 2. Mozzie goes to Elizabeth to get Peter's help to save Neal. Peter takes a risk to help out on the case and ends up in charge. Neal finds a way to ditch the anklet just long enough to make progress on the search for the music box, with help from Alex.
