Betty takes up fencing.
The premise of this episode is Betty feeling she never wins anything and always second best. That seems unusual since she in earlier shows she was practically perfect in everything she did. Sill it is an entertaining show. She is also doing some babysitting and the the young boy she is taking care of is very attached to her. She promises to take him camping (in the backyard) and her tournament is the same day. Funny scene of Bud in Emmett Kelley clown makeup.
