Exploitation at it's worst
peterpants6611 February 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Horror movie compilation in the vein of "Blair Witch Project" which contains some of the most uninteresting, non- attractive, badly tatted tarts i have ever seen. These woman are a year or two away from waiting tables at Bickfords. The shoot itself is a joke and the build up to the kills takes longer then you'd expect from a bunch of nitwits that would probably die if someone didn't offer them money in return for close up's of their vagina's. Is this a scene that's out to exploit black hair and black ink on punker bodies? Yes. The problem i have with this brand is that it could be done A LOT better. How about tasteful pin-up style shoots, how about not going on tour where they frolic around in their undies in dirty nightclubs. I hope these "babes" are making their money because i couldn't tell you anyone that finds what they do interesting. The SG franchise is just that, a big black hole, don't waste your time unless your seriously bored, and even then i'd suggest doing something else. Highly suspect skank material suited for the lowest I.Q.

Suicide is an option...
paul_haakonsen25 November 2012
A horror movie with women from the Suicide Girls website? Well what could possibly go wrong here? Aside from...

...everything?!

This movie is the epitome of stupidity, bad storyline and horrible acting. It is everything that you don't want a movie to be, and then some. You have to look far and wide to manage to find stuff like this.

But I am sure if you are a teenager and have just recently discovered the thrill of naked ladies, then "Suicide Girls Must Die" is the right movie for you. But for the rest of us, people that have any sense of maturity and who wants just an ounce of quality in what we see on the screen, then "Suicide Girls Must Die" is a total waste of time, film and effort.

The storyline is fairly straight forward, simplistic and rather boring actually. A group of women from the suicide girls dot com website go deep into the forest for a photo shoot for a calender, but they start to mysteriously disappear and the horror begins.

A fairly average storyline that doesn't have anything to offer, unless you count naked and scantily clad women something to offer. These women are plastered with tasteless and tacky tattoos, which may or may not fall into just everyone's taste. Personally I don't mind tattoos, but there is something called moderation and class, and these clearly are well beyond that, in my opinion. And let's not forget that the acting talent combined between the entire cast doesn't even start to match up to even a single of most Hollywood actors and actresses.

The camera work in the movie was nothing to get excited about, quite the opposite actually. It is rare that I get annoyed with camera work in movies that aren't those God awful 'documentary-like' movies and 'lost footage' movies (such as "Blairwitch", "Paranormal Activity", and the like), but the camera work in this movie was just frustrating and annoying to behold.

So what are the good points of this movie? Well if you like naked women plastered with tattoos and super tacky horror movies, then "Suicide Girls Must Die" might just do the trick for you. For me, this movie did absolutely nothing and it was an uphill battle to get through. I actually gave up and had to turn it off, it was just that horrible.

If you enjoy a proper horror movie and want to be thoroughly entertained by the movie you sit down to watch and invest your time and effort into, then "Suicide Girls Must Die" should be avoided at all costs.

The Way Life Should Be
nogodnomasters24 October 2017
Warning: Spoilers
A web site travels to remote Maine to shoot a tattooed skank calendar. One by one the "models" mysteriously disappear after they desecrate the tombstones of Stephen King's ancestors. We see some murdered on camera, but not the killer until the end.

They do a photo shoot where the girls go FF naked. Don't worry if you want to see the photographers' tatas there is a hot tub scene.

4 stars for the nudity

Terrible waste of time
iceflame77771 July 2010
The first 50 minutes of the film is girls talking and shouting at each other and montages of girls taking their clothes off, the closest thing to horror is that some girls go missing. Afterwards it descends into the usual group splits up and go missing 1 by 1. The ending is a huge slap in the face that makes you realise you just wasted your time watching it and makes the film pointless.

The "Reality horror" that it markets itself as is basically Jersey Shore in the woods. The "characters" (all the girls play their real life counterpart) are completely unlikable, which takes away what little suspense ever existed. The only reason you might want to watch this is because the girls get naked but considering you can find better stuff on the internet it's not worth wasting your time with this.

Well, OK, it IS a film (in the broadest sense).
innocuous1 October 2011
I did manage to sit through the whole thing. It had sound, moving images, some sort of plot, and characters.

I suppose I'm at the right age and of the right gender to enjoy this sort of thing...young alt women in various states of undress. But it didn't appeal to me at all. For one thing, these young women have particularly unattractive personalities. For another, contrary to what others have written, they're pretty plain-looking and not much of a turn-on, even nude and trying to pose seductively.

I think it really began to irritate me when four girls in a boat, even when equipped with a very nice paddle, couldn't seem to get their boat the last 100 feet to the shore. Nope...got to strip (literally) and swim to shore.

As for the final resolution and climax of the story, if you can't see it coming from a mile away, you don't watch many movies.

Better than "Birdemic," but not by too much. Still, watchable in parts.

Arghhh
ctomvelu14 April 2011
I couldn't agree more with the the title of this video. I caught an episode of the show on Showtime today and had to turn it off after 10 or 12 minutes to keep my sanity. There is nothing appealing about any of these so-called women, and their antics make Jersey Shore look like Shakespeare. Who in heaven's name watches this stuff? I can guess, but I will be charitable and not say who I think they are. I guess there's an audience for anything these days (how otherwise to explain any of those Housewives shows?). Given my druthers, I'd rather watch a television test pattern than this dreck. Actually, I'd much rather watch that skinny eastern Ruropean babe who defines English words one at a time online. At least she has something to say. And something worth showing.

Amina had a wooden leg?
splitbacks8811 March 2012
Warning: Spoilers
As if the plot, acting, body art, and cheesy arguments weren't enough. It appeared that Amina has a prosthetic leg. I don't know a damn thing about the suicide girls, I watched this movie while I was waiting for weather to clear so I could do something more productive. Overly tattod girls are just not attractive in the least and their scabby, pale, anemic bodies didn't help. The stupid arguing when the group was dwindling rapidly about what to do was over the top. "Eight girls are missing, we need to do something!" I'm here to shoot a calendar and thats what I plan to do! Besides it hasn't been 24 hours yet." Holy cow, what deplorable dialogue. This is 90 minutes of my life that I will never get back.

I thought it was pretty cool.
cfonda_21017 January 2011
I could not believe I had never heard of the SuicideGirls before now. Once I quit trying to take this film seriously I actually thought it was so dry it became funny. After that I was OK with it. Yeah the acting was substandard at best but I decided to give these girls an even shake and finished the movie. I've sat through other movies that got better ratings that were much worse than this one. I certainly would not want anyones daughter using these girls as role models that's for sure. I was really hoping for more but like a lot of "B" type Indie flicks they don't always come out like you wanted. Some of these girls are actually beautiful and I believe when people get a better look they might truly reconsider what they think beauty is. I will need to watch a couple of the earlier SuicideGirls attempts to get a better picture as to what they are all about.

Stupid godawful mix of topless women and "horror"
preppy-325 November 2011
Just pathetic. It's about a bunch of very unattractive women getting together in a remote cabin to shoot some nude poses for a calender. One by one they start disappearing without a trace. So what do these women do? They scream and swear at each other and point fingers instead of doing anything logical.

Just abysmal. Disgusting film trying to mix topless females and horror. The main problem is that NONE of these women are even remotely attractive (and most have totally hideous tattoos), are terrible actresses, swear nonstop and are just annoying people all around. The "horror" sequences are nonexistent. The film is shot in a jerky style with quick takes and jumps that ended up giving me a headache. There's also incredibly annoying "music" playing nonstop. We also get a totally pointless hot tub sequence so we can see them all take off their tops and engage in lesbian kisses (btw, this has nothing to do with the rest of the movie). It all leads to a completely predictable ending that was so downright insulting that I hated the movie! Cheap, badly done, horrible acting, unattractive girls...there's nothing here for anybody. Avoid.

This is NOT a horror movie . . .
charlytully27 August 2011
Warning: Spoilers
. . . unless your idea of horror is a bunch of totally unclothed girls with body piercings and extensive full-color tattoos pretending to be actresses in a movie people would pay money to rent. They ONLY part of SUICIDE GIRLS MUST DIE! that is a tad horrible is when the mosquitoes start biting them during their au naturel woodsy fashion shoots. Their attempt to rip off SURVIVOR with infrared shots and a "confessional booth" for to-the-camera soliloquies is totally lame, as is all their half-hearted whining about "missing girls," when it is clear they are NOT actually upset about anything (except perhaps the mosquito bites; hopefully the crew had some Calamine lotion on hand). The most gifted actress featured in this film is the lady plays one ticked off "Mainer" when the girls' minibuses stop for a roadside ditch wee-wee stop in front of her home. Unfortunately, this irate lady apparently was a REAL person, as her name DOES NOT appear in the credits. Other than acting lessons, perhaps the best advice that can be given to the self-proclaimed Suicide Girls for their next cinematic effort would be: don't forget to pack the toilet paper!

Nicer Review (but still hated it.)
JoeB13114 September 2011
Warning: Spoilers
People were offended by my first review, so I will try to be nicer this time.

This movie really isn't very good because it is just full of typical horror movie clichés.

To wit- "victims" are picked off and yet the rest of the characters are unaware of their danger.

Everyone has video-cameras that they continue to use even when they are in mortal danger of losing their lives. (Again, a trend started by the "Blair Witch Project" and continued with films such as "Cloverfeild" and "Quarentine".) It strains credulity because your last reaction to "Someone is trying to KILL me" is "I'd better get this all down on tape!"

Oh, yeah, let's not forget the "My Cell Phone doesn't work out here" device. Because I guess screen writing is still caught in the 1980's, before 4G network coverage. Because "Working Cell Phone > mad killer", unless you cheat.

But the main problem with the film is that the Suicide Girls themselves are such unpleasant, unlikeable people that you simply don't care if they get killed or not. There is no one in the film to root for. Most films of this genre have a "Jamie Lee Curtis" character you kind of like. Not here.

The fact that not a one of them can act probably doesn't help matters all that much.

Not scary, but it is interesting...
i_am_ant10122 July 2010
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is actually pretty interesting. Not just for the fact that there are semi (and fully) naked hot tattooed girls shooting a calendar in the movie. It takes a while for the movie to actually get interesting, but there are a few decent moments in it. These girls aren't acting though, this is an actual documentary and they were giving real reactions to what was happening as they all thought it was real. Throughout the film you tend to think "WTF?" quite a lot as there weren't actually any scary bits. If you want to be scared don't bother watching this movie, but if you want to see members of the Suicide Girls posing in front of the camera, running about with barely any clothes on and lots of drunken arguments this film is for you!

Lackluster slasher effort
kannibalcorpsegrinder25 February 2013
When a group of models for an internet website arrive at a location shoot in the wilderness, they soon realize their slowly disappearing members are the result of a madman in the area killing them off one-by-one and must put their own feelings toward each other aside to get away and survive.

This is a piddling and actually quite lame slasher effort. While I'm not the least-bit familiar with the site and the intentions of it, that alone might not be much of a factor in this one being a decent if unspectacular slasher. The greatest obstacle in overcoming this one is the difference of the titular group's appearance and attitudes toward each other, which is certainly understandable since it's not exactly the norm to witness and it's an acquired taste when they start their shoot to witness such acts, even though the generous and heaping nudity does lessen it somewhat. Once it starts to become a slasher film, it goes up a little better in quality if only for the fact that the reality-show like filming style would allow for more gore and attacks to be witnessed as they should be rather than as a blurry mess, but overall it's still not all that bad of a slasher effort.

Rated Unrated/R: Full Nudity, Extreme Graphic Language, Violence and drug use.

Fun movie
kbergman415 January 2011
Totally enjoyed this movie. I did not expect an award-winning movie, obviously, so I found I liked it much more than anticipated. Thought the look of it was very well done, much better than Blair Witch Project or any of the others in that genre of film making. The more I watched the girls the more beautiful they became and the more I felt attached to them. That can only be due to the acting as they often made you feel like you were merely observing them in their personal lives. The ending could have gone several ways, and I was pleased it ended the way it did. Also, I am a female photographer and really enjoyed that part of the movie as well.

Suicidegirls Must Die review
hellangelprincess11 December 2016
Warning: Spoilers
OK guys, first let me start by saying what is up with all the negativity on the ladies, all of them were really beautiful, and maybe they weren't all caked on with makeup and super thin but that's exactly what Suicide girls are, real tattoos and bad ass, confident ladies who want to change the beauty standard! A lot of them were pale because that's their look, Amina for example, is super heavily tattooed and I've heard some people describe her as 'overweight' personally I think she's gorgeous. The girls in the film and on the site aren't these super tiny models they are real. I can't stress that enough. As for the movie itself.....well.....

I am a huge fan of all horror genres, B movies, cult, documentary, etc. I've also loved SuicideGirls from the time I was younger, I accidentally stumbled on a picture of Fractal Suicide (Who is in this movie)and it became my dream to become as amazing as these gorgeous, talented ladies. So when I found there was a horror movie I had to go out and get it.

The plot was interesting, death scenes very realistic in parts some weren't so convincing but most horror movies aren't. The ending was good too and honestly unexpected.

My mother and I turned it on while we were sewing late at night after she gifted it to me for Christmas this year, not only did I enjoy it but she did too. We watched it twice that night including with the other household members.

While there were some parts that I didn't find too enjoyable, the vast majority of the movie, however was well worth it. It was filled with beautiful, confident girls and some amazing tattoos.

A lot of people are complaining about dialogue and script, there wasn't a script at all. Those were genuine reactions which made the movie even better. While I will admit there were one or two scenes that I didn't like I can still sit through this movie again and again.

The best thing I can say is go out and watch it for yourself, Everyone's opinions differ.
