Extrapolations Episode 5, titled 2059 Part 2: Nightbirds, follows the aftereffect of Gita and Rowan's plan from India. The main characters are Gaurav and Neel, assigned to bring the magic seeds they are unaware of. The Apple series focuses on the future world on the brink of destruction due to climate change, produced by Scott Z. Burns, Gregory Jacobs, Dorothy Fortenberry, and Media Res. Michael Ellenberg and Lindsey Springer. The series stars Meryl Streep, Sienna Miller, Kit Harington, Daveed Diggs, Edward Norton, Diane Lane, Tahar Rahim, Yara Shahidi, Matthew Rhys, Gemma Chan, David Schwimmer, Adarsh Gourav, Keri Russell, Marion Cotillard, Forest Whitaker, Eiza González, Murray Bartlett, Indira Varma, Tobey Maguire, MaameYaa Boafo, Hari Nef, Heather Graham, Michael Gandolfini, Cherry Jones, Gaz Choudhry, Ben Harper, Judd Hirsch, and Neska Rose. Gaurav is a Mumbal guy who works hard to meet his ends. He witnesses the explosion of The Rowan plane and is introduced to Neel, a crippled guy who gives him Briyani made out of synthetic rice. Neel asks Gaurav to speak only in English, as he is unable to communicate in Hindi due to the heat. Gaurav then heads to the Marine Drive, where he witnesses the explosion of The Rowan plane and is introduced to Neel, a crippled guy who gives him Briyani made out of synthetic rice. Gaurav is assigned a mission to drive cargo to Varanasi and bring it back to Mumbai. Neel advises Gaurav to ask the "madam" about it, but Gaurav agrees as he is given a huge amount. During the trip, Neel keeps talking, leading Gaurav to yell at him. Neel shares his backstory of wartime, which Gaurav is agro-exempt from due to his family's suicide. In 2059, nobody can work during the day due to the heat, so the duo travel at night. Suddenly, their truck is stopped by the police in Madhya Pradesh. Neel shoots the three cops and rushes Gaurav to drive the truck. Meanwhile, a woman is alerted and sends three drone cameras to keep an eye on the cargo. Gaurav and Neel argue, but Neel confirms that this job is essential as it can be the only way out. Gita and Rowan's plan of recreating volcanic ash to cool down the earth has caused rain. Harbaksh now has rice seeds to mass produce to bring back India's agricultural status. Hopefully, the world will heal, but evil companies like Alpha are still ruining resources. Will the world heal or business corporations continue ruining resources?
