Sex & Nudity

  • There is nudity in a fight scene (one character is fully nude), but it is not detailed
  • There is some fanservice at the early episodes, but with hair/hands covering breasts. The scene only lasts for about a minute.
  • One major character prominently wears a swimsuit, and is sometimes presented in suggestive ways

Violence & Gore

  • Many types of gore are shown in explicit detail. Gun shots to the chest and head, limbs cut off, skulls broken, heads cut in half, impalement, among others. Blood is visible and lingered on.
  • A character is struck in the back of the head with a hatchet. There is a clear shot of the blade sticking out of the back of their skull before it is pulled out.
  • A character is stabbed in the side of the neck while in a ditch and violently bleeds to death.
  • A character's face is caved inwards after their shadow is hit with a sledgehammer. Very gory and graphic.
  • A mother and father are violently killed with a sledgehammer. The mother gets hit in the head and is decapitated while the father gets hit in the face with the handle, caving it inwards. He is then hit in the head as well, crushing it.
  • A large humanoid creature grasps the head of a schoolgirl in its hand and presses on it until her skull is crushed with lots of blood.
  • A character on a ledge above a body of water is shot at once. Although at first it seems that the bullet didn't hit them, it's graphically shown that the bullet struck them in the eye socket and exited through the back of the head. The characters shudders and falls from the ledge to their death.
  • A character ingests an entire bottle of Mercuric Chloride off-screen and is seen coughing up lots of blood before dying.

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Though many deaths aren't permanent, they can still be shocking and are traumatizing for the main character.
  • Faces are animated in grotesque ways several times through the series, which may take some viewers aback.
  • There are some jumpscares in early episodes, but get less and less throughout the series.
