Well-performed shaggy-dog story
lor_9 August 2019
Randy Spears takes the director's chair (plus an acting role) in this unusual Penthouse Video release that keeps the viewer guessing, leading to a surprise and slightly cryptic finish.

Since Cash Markman is cast as the butler, one easily infers that he is the author of the uncredited screenplay, given that it is overwritten with tons of artificial dialog. But it proves effective up to a point.

The story is strictly cornball, a mystery where a group of strangers are gathered together for an evening at an unknown fellow's house, with their host keeping them (and the audience) in suspense as to "why I've called you all here this evening" for the duration.

Frank Bukkwyd, a frequent NonSex regular for Markman, plays the supercilious millionaire philanthropist who is their host, and he treats each of the four businessmen invitees to sex with his "wives", statuesque beauties who are initially posed like statues before mingling with the guests. There are five of them, with Sam Ryan indulging in lesbian sex rather than servicing one of the four studs.

Spears directs the cast well, maintaining a serious tone throughout, and the sex scenes with the likes of Holly Sampson and Charisma Cappelli are hot. I only wish that it had all added up to something more than a shaggy-dog ending.
