In the far north, Walter Shumway has been pillaging Morgan Davis' traps. He lures Davis' sister, Alma Rayford, to an isolated cabin, where has also summoned a priest who will, apparently, wed them without asking any questions. Can Fearless the Famous Police Dog rescue her?
In this, the last appearance of Fearless, we are faced again with the lackadaisical scripting that plagued the series of shorts. The earlier entries gave one the impression that no one was taking any of this seriously, but by this point everything had degenerated into common melodrama tropes with Fearless present to solve every issue with his preternatural intelligence. The series had been conceived originally as a short subject version of Warner Brothers' Rin-Tin-Tin series, but that had boasted some fine actors, excellent scripts and up-and-coming talent beyond the camera. By this point, the people involved in the Fearless series were phoning it in -- except for Fearless himself, who remained a handsome dog with some nice tricks.
