Jamie Flanagan, who wrote this episode, appears as the Group Leader.
When Anya calls Rhett, he lies on his bed in his bedroom, which has some items identical to Glen's bedroom in A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), including the TV on the bed, the round bedside lamp, a picture of a planet on the wall, and the brown headboard. There is even a boom box similar to the one Glen brings over to the sleepover to produce airport sound effects. Heather Langenkamp is also Glen's girlfriend in A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984).
