Getting very tired of Ressler...
sergedenas5 November 2021
The main problem other than the last few seasons of the "Keane" arc is Ressler. He has become so insufferably melancholy and irritating. How many times has Reddington saved this pouting little turd and he still acts like a spoiled brat.

Momentum gradually increasing!
arundm-0727628 May 2022
Good episode, storyline was slightly boring and absurd but great to see more Reddington acting. Brilliant stuff.

I think "Keen 2.0" aka Donold "Dick" is slowly emerging....need to nip it the bud before it becomes an unbearable MESS!

Loving Dembe's amazingly stoic ways as the new FBI agent. Love how he tells Donald Dick with no emotional expression. Brilliant stuff.

Likewise, loving the "new Dembe"....sorry forgot her name but was amazing with shooting display....need to see more of that, please.

High time to remove Donald Dick! Just send him back to Detroit and have occasional guest appearance because I cannot tolerate any Keen 2.0 messing up season 9! We had 8 seasons of it! NO MORE!

A lot going on here

Warning: Spoilers
As for the kiss of death between key male players; although it disgusts me, it's not the end of the world. That being said, the absence of Liz is welcome, as IMHO she overstayed her welcome. However, now we have Aram as a successful inventor of a set of security software, and Dembe as a member of the FBI? Maybe this is the exit strategy for Aram? Too bad, but as a long term viewer, I'd rather he stay as an agent. Also, as a long term viewer, I'd rather Dembe go back to the strong arm for Reddington, a role he played so well.

Maybe a Bit of the Far Fetched

I want to chime in with the comments on Donald Ressler. In retrospect, he is the whiniest character. He bought into Lizzie's thing and can't back away. She had a thing for him, so he blames Reddington for ruining her life. He is the tiresome guy with no imagination at all. That aside, the episode was OK but awfully hard to accept. The actions of that guy who stole the treasure were fun the first time. Dembe is trying to maintain relevance and can't back away, even for his best friend. Those religious guys were just too nutty. Why be so passionate, following their leader, and then dump the guy's teachings to go with the "fear is the best teacher" bit?

'What is wrong with Resslee'
carmenjulianna27 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I don't understand the animosity Ressler has for Reddington? It's confusing! He would be well dead by now had it not been for 'Red'.. His character should be retired as, it has become a little repetitive him keep coming back.. In the scene where Ressler & Park visit 'David Kangas (a suspected artefact theif & murderer) On approaching his front lawn where he was raking in the weeds, (after the agents question him) the suspect suddenly runs into what looks like a garden shed..( the agents knock the door open, to him come running out blazing on fire.. What was ridiculous however is that it was no-longer David Kangas ablaze, but, very clearly a replacement in disguise (A Stunt man!!!) Wow, it was soo obvious the switch that it was laughable:) The grey buffon wig and much larger body, was a dead giveaway.. I couldn't believe what I was looking at, that it was clearly a different man..!!!

I really like this series after getting into it late-on.. Mistakes like that should not be evident after editing? Glad to see 'Dembe' return as an agent, a great character..!!

What would the series be without "Raymond Reddington"..(James Spader) has mastered this character and made it his own. Well Done..!!!

The Blacklist is Back in action!!!

Warning: Spoilers
I almost had a heart-attack when Aram had this slight dilemma to choose the FBI job or start his own company. It would have been devastating if he would have left the FBI; thank god he hasn't. Ressler and park is at the top of their game and I love how they are guiding each other; such an important character development. Reddington, my man, I love how effortlessly he has become from being utterly ruthless to a more calm and calculative criminal over the time. I am still waiting to see how the story for Dembe gets developed, his story of becoming an FBI agent is necessary for the season. Overall, I thank the writing and producer of the show for giving me such a wonderful weekend. Just a wild suggestion, is it possible to show how these two years have passed after the death of Elizabeth Keen, like how life of all the character changed and how Reddington got hold of his associate (I can not remember the name of that lady). Anyways, thank you so much for the show and I believe, The Blacklist has a lot to offer in the coming episodes and seasons.

[6.8] The engine who'd soon burn up
cjonesas18 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Episode 3: Above-average episode, turning to soft soap-opera little by little. The task force is becoming a joke episode by episode. They try their best, but the storyline is empty, not connectable and relatable anymore.

One example: Aram and Donald taking drug tests. Seriously?! With those faces, cell ringing, speaker on, talking business in that place. That was one of the weak points and jokes out of several scenes.

Reddington is great, but without Keen and her arc anymore, the show is losing altitude by episode. Reddington cannot carry the burden alone, he's the engine who'd soon burn up...

* Pinkie is super cute though!

Spoilers: Gimmeabreak !
TheRealLamontCranston12 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
: "Richard Nixon's (non existent) criminal network" ? What in the world are they talking about in Trivia? However, wiping hard drives with a cloth is another matter.

Happy Lizzie is gone.

She was in perpetual crazy mode.. Reseler fills that role now.

What a pain in the neck he is.

The shocker is Spader kissing Keach full on the lips. What ???

Once seen, can not be unseen.

Can we please, please catch a breather from the LGBTQ movement?

I am very close to dropping The Blacklist.

Give it a little more time.

They are on double secret probation until further notice.

Losing interest
kmfig6 November 2021
I am sorry. Used to love this show, but it is turning into a soap opera. Move on from Liz and the kid. Stop all the mourning. So much potential there with the rest of the cast.
