A girl finds herself dissatisfied with the physical state of things in her life. In her meticulous fantasy world, she performs an intricate make-believe face-lift on her compliant, younger brother. She is painstaking in carrying out the task, and quite serious as she mimics every detail of the shows she's seen in public media (all with non-sharp, ordinary household items and toys). She lays out her tools. She wraps his face with gauze. She takes Polaroid pictures. She unwraps his face and shows him with a mirror. Inexplicitly, to take things further, she indulges in making herself into an animal by attaching hair to her face. She shaves the family dog. Inexplicably, she is sucked under the ultimate traditional childhood place of dread, under her bed.
