This covered much of the life of the painter and why this painting was so important. The theft was quite daring and low-tech - hopefully museums have increased their security since 1984. The capture of the thieves and the aftermath was enlightening. Not sure why the names of the thieves (Ok - "accused" thieves) aren't mentioned, even in Wikipedia. I would have liked to hear a bit more of their background and destinies.

But, by far this was so far the most interesting episode. It differed from previous "Secrets of the Dead" because the search, discovery, and resolution really wasn't about a deceased party; but rather, a missing piece of artwork.
Now some people died, and the ultimate outcome of the artwork was a strange story indeed.
