Alice mentions that Catwoman and Batman once had "a thing," implying some sort of romantic relationship between the two, much like in the comics. In Rachel Skarsten's previous series, Birds of Prey (2002), Huntress (Ashley Scott) was the pair's half-metahuman daughter.
Establishes Catwoman's existence in the Arrowverse.
When Alice is discussing Batman and Catwoman's relationship with Montoya, she says that she didn't think "heroes do that sort of thing". This could be a reference to a news story from 2021, in which the creators of the animated Harley Quinn (2019) series revealed that they had to cut a planned oral sex scene between Batman and Catwoman, because DC said that "heroes don't do that." The scene, in The 83rd Annual Villy Awards (2022), instead showed Batman being mediocre at giving a foot rub.
