Allison suddenly develops an aversion to bright light but the sunglasses she borrows from a filing cabinet at the office are quite revealing. What she sees is a number across the forehead of the people she looks at. She's not sure what it all means but she is dreaming about a gang of drug dealers who seem to be out killing their competitors. When she finally figures it out, she realizes that Det. Lee Scanlon's life is in danger and from an unexpected source. She also gets a visit from the ghost of Joe's Dad who reminds her that Joe is now approaching the age where had his first heart attack.
