Better than the pilot

Glad to see that this show has room for improvement. It still has it's flaws but at least I wasn't as bored as I was last week. Good to see more of Naomi's history. I do wish that the writers would improve the dialogue though. As to the CGI it needs work but is passable well as much as the rest of the Arrowverse CGI. Maybe I won't drop it as easy as I thought I would.

The Plot of the Second episode is marginally better

But it is still written horribly.

And why does every age appropriate character on the show want to date Naomi? It is just weird as the lead actress (although beautiful in real life), is not at all TV or movie stunning to the point of all this attention from every teen she meets.

Very good

I like this show. It is not grim and gritty but colorful and fun. Yes, the town is a little too idyllic but I think it is nice. It reminds me of comic book as they were when I was a child, before they became all mature and serious.

This chapter was interesting, as we are learning things about Naomi. I look forward to see more of this.

This episode was so boring
mluinstra23 January 2022
I found myself skipping ahead 10 seconds at a time looking for something interesting. They just talk talk talk and it's boring as hell.

She learns who she is (kind of) in this episode but tries to deny it but eventually comes around. At the end she decides to accept who she is and talks to Hawk guy about training and learning more about who she is.

All the crap in between was just filler. Every guy wants to date her. One guy asks her out and she accepts, but she doesn't think it's a date and he does, blah blah blah. Just a bunch of boring filler.

I think this will be my last review of this show. It's not my cup of tea. I like more action and actual story in my shows. I doubt it will be renewed.

THE BEST EPISODE SO FAR
BinUser3 March 2023
This episode is something I think about SO OFTEN! THE WRITERS MAN... they truly took so much care in telling this story and I'm immensely grateful! This episode starts like a fire and it builds until the climax which feels underwhelming until we get to see inside Naomi's motives for the whole thing. I could honestly watch this episode on a constant repeat.

Between the soundtrack!!! The squad content!!!!! And the arc Naomi goes through...it means so much to me and is truly one of the best episodes of TV ever written, produced and acted in PERIOD.

If the pilot introduced the characters and the world, this episode is a promise of a beautiful show and really displays this shows best qualities - the unconditional love and support at the center as well as the things that swim around in Naomi's head that we see manifest in her actions. Phenomenal ep!
