Dylan pays Michael back his share of the rent. He even hopes to be able to afford enrolling at the renowned but pricey American Design Academy come summer thanks to his new job. Eric is concerned for Jessica and asks Michael and Dylan over. He fears that the relationship of the roommates and former lovers might not stay platonic and hurt his niece eventually. Eric is particularly impressed how Michael stands his ground to him and makes her a job offer. Clarke meets up with Sally's bankers and presents them with a business case for Spectra Fashions which includes his return as lead designer. Sally thanks C.J. for standing up for her last night. It is evident that the boy would like to get to know his father better, though. Sally encourages C.J. to give Clarke the benefit of a doubt and let him into his life. C.J. is too deeply hurt by his father's rejection and will not hear it.
