Opening night got the juices flowing at the 4th-annual Gasparilla International Film Festival and day 2 continued the momentum. Interactive panels, variety of flicks, and even more celebrities made their way into Tampa Bay to partake. As day 3 begins in just a couple hours, more are expected. It's still not too late to take part in the festivities. Here's what events are left on the docket.
Highlighting day 2 was an Actor's panel, featuring Armand Assante and casting director Kathy Laughlin. Laughlin has worked with local talent such as Brittany Snow and Arielle Kebbel, both who have gone onto to work in major Hollywood productions. The motivating panel shared many of their experiences and told the packed house of aspiring actors and actresses what is the best way to make it in this tough industry.
