- And so the tagline reads, in a back room around an old poker table, sits 4 of the most vile deviant characters ever to gather under one roof. The Pirate, The Pusher, The Hood and The Italian buy their chips from the Beautiful but cunning Baroness and begin 'The Bucovina Card Game.' As the Baroness tends to the players needs the alcohol flows and the pots get larger. Eye brows twitch, pulses race, pupil's dilate and tempers reach their boiling point in this exciting, theatrical film. But you wouldn't expect a Pirate to lose his money with face would you? And don't think that the Italian, with his comical mannerisms and quivering mustache is such an easy pushover. The Pusher with his used-car-salesman looks and grimy demeanor might be able to tolerate a few loses but he won't leave the jackpot without a fight. The Hood, growling through most of the game, did not come here tonight to lose. He keeps his insurance in a small sheath inside his boot. Women, Whiskey and a full deck make this film repeatedly watchable and fun for the mischievous rascal in all of us. Who will take home the bills in the most exciting game of cards outside of Vegas? Vegas wouldn't even let these guys in. Enjoy 'The Bucovina Card Game' Written and Directed by Zack Block and Sean Trimpe one66bigfoot@hotmail.com—zrb
