- [after Claire had a friendly encounter with Doyle]
- Gretchen Berg: Explain to me how you're BFFs with a carny?
- Claire Bennet: He kidnapped me once. Tried to get my mom to shoot me, but... I got over it.
- Gretchen Berg: Excuse me?
- Nathan Petrelli: You're gonna have to carry on for the both of us, Pete. Okay? You tell Mom I love her. You take care of Claire. Fight the good fight. You've always been everything that's good in the world, Pete.
- Peter Petrelli: Nathan...
- Nathan Petrelli: And I got a feeling the world ain't seen nothing yet.
- Peter Petrelli: I can't do this without you.
- Nathan Petrelli: You can do anything, Pete. Anything. Remember that. I love you.
- Claire Bennet: [when arriving at the carnival] I always said I belonged in a freak show. I just never took it so literally.
- Angela Petrelli: Please, Peter, think about what you're doing.
- Peter Petrelli: I have. Gonna go get Nathan back.
- Angela Petrelli: What happens when you find out there's not a Nathan to get back?
- Peter Petrelli: I guess I'll just settle for revenge.
- Sylar: Listen, Peter. I'm pretty disappointed in you. Your plan was to syringe me in the neck with drugs. Wasn't that the old plan? I mean, don't get me wrong, congrats for... pulling it off in the first place. But fool me twice, you know?
- Peter Petrelli: [coming from behind] Yeah, I know.
- [whacks Sylar over the head with a plank]
- Samuel Sullivan: [to Eli the multiplier] I wanna ask a favor. With Edgar gone, will you do me the honor of being my right-hand man? Or should I say 'men'?
- Noah Bennet: [on the multiplier] One of them is a prime. We shoot him, we get rid of the rest.
- Lauren Gilmore: It took us two weeks to find the one in Tulsa. What's the plan here?
- Noah Bennet: Shoot them all and hope for the best.
- Peter Petrelli: Remember the last time we were up here?
- Nathan Petrelli: Yep. Yeah, I do. You were standing on that edge right there. Like an idiot. Asking me about Dad's depression. Asking me if I could fly.
- Peter Petrelli: Do you remember what you said?
- Nathan Petrelli: I said we could both fly.
- Peter Petrelli: No, no, no. Before that.
- [Nathan tries to remember, without success]
- Peter Petrelli: You denied it.
- Nathan Petrelli: [nonchalantly] It was an election year.
- [Claire has second thoughts about entering the carnival]
- Gretchen Berg: We've been on the road for a day. But you've been on this road your whole life, and it's led you here. So you have to at least check it out.
- [in Lydia's parlor]
- Claire Bennet: [takes Lydia's hand] Am I supposed to be here?
- [on Lydia's back appears Claire's image with the caption "Indestructible Girl"]
- Claire Bennet: [...]
- Claire Bennet: What, am I... am I gonna have a circus act?
- Lydia: [chuckles] This isn't the future, Claire. This is your desire.
- Claire Bennet: Maybe I can be the girl who gets sawed in half every night.
- Gretchen Berg: Now, that's something to aspire to.
- Peter Petrelli: We made it through. Together. Made it through all the craziness, you and me. We can make it through anything, Nathan.
- Nathan Petrelli: Even death?
- Peter Petrelli: Why not?
- [last lines]
- Samuel Sullivan: My brother Joseph had the right idea. He believed that alone, this family would be safe. And that idea has worked for us for years. But how long can we live like this, wandering in the desert without a home? Times change, and we need to change with them. We need to stop running, stop living in the shadows. We should be stronger; the problem is, there's simply too few of us to make a stand. If we are truly to be great, we need to grow our ranks, bring in new members. And the newest among us cannot be shackled with the same burden we've borne, wandering like nomads. They deserve a home. A promised land. Now, I thought a lot about exactly where this homeland should be, and I keep coming back to this very spot. Here we will plant roots, and build a life, a community. Here we will be oppressed no longer, here we will live our lives on our own terms. But none of that can happen until we have gathered the rest. And when we have done that, we will return to this place. We will wander no longer. We will finally... be home.
