WILHELM SCREAM: When Stan and Steve first go out on the golf course and get knocked to the ground, and the guy that falls next to them.
The pay-per-view passcode that Roger enters is 5318008. Backwards, this spells "BOOBIES."
Just before Steve attempts to sing the national anthem at the country club, he is introduced by a comedian wearing a fake nose. This indicates that he was imitating another person. Under his jacket can be seen a red shirt with yellow flowers, the same pattern that Glen Quagmire wears in Family Guy. Glen Quagmire was made as an homage to Bob Hope, an American comedian who was known for touring with the USO to entertain American troops during the Vietnam conflict.
The episode parodies First Blood ( Stan wearing the colonel outfit, Steve being offered a right, not wanting trouble). It also keeps playing "Adagio for Strings" by John Barber, which was used as the soundtrack for Platoon, so it might be a spoof on that as well.
