This whole show kind of feels like a weird dream you forgot you had. It's kind of like a mix of Hello Kitty and Bee and Puppycat. I love this show and it's characters. I do sometimes think that the episodes are a little too silly, but they are made for a younger-ish audience so who am I to judge? But yeah, compared to most cartoons nowadays, this is definitely great and you should absolutely watch it. On Tik Tok or YouTube. I'd say YouTube if you don't have or use Tik Tok. And also because a lot of the videos in compilations so they're pretty easily accessible. Overall, a very nice, warm, cute show.

This adorable and charming little web series can make anyone happy when they're sad, from the adorable character designs, to the outstanding animation quality, to the beautiful morals about being yourself, doing what makes you happy, and never giving up on what you love. The characters themselves are also very deeply personified even with how short the episodes are, the main character, Chikn Nuggit, is the weirdest cartoon character ever, and that is a complement like no other, the other characters: Cheezborger, Iscream, ,Fwench Fwy, Cofi, Sody Pop, Slushi, and Bezel are all fun and likable in their own ways and it's hard not to absolutely love them all!

I'll admit, I did like this series for a short while, thinking it looked cute with its animation and character designs. I also was fond of its LGBT inclusion majorly involved within the cast. All this is what the series works best at, however, I've come to realize over the long run, that is "all they are best at" and nothing else.

It can be argued that the show had an amazing start, sure, but what else has it done besides its same repeated formula over the next few years. Pretty much what it's dumbed down to is "relatable Gen Z moment" to "OMG I can't believe what I just witnessed". Other than that, this series doesn't have actual humor, and only uses what they find to be "relatable" to be considered "funny". Don't get me wrong, relatable humor can work, but looking at another web series that also is from Buzzfeed, The Land Of Boggs, that show handles relatable humor way better. That's because their stories have punchlines to them, they have a message they are sneaking into their shorts that people can easily understand. One episode was setup where a friend made another friend try a food they believed they wouldn't like, and when the friend tried it, they pretend to still be disgusted by it despite still eating more of it. You know they're lying and you know this is something that happens to you too, but most importantly, it's funny. Going back to Chikn Nuggit, they literally had a short where a character had trouble with a card reader...and that's it. No punchline, no twist, all the short did was show that card readers are a pain. All relatable, but no punchline.

What instead could be the worst thing the show runners behind this have done was adding the clock character. Not only does he not match with the theme, but he's completely useless to have on here. This character is meant to be the embodiment of time, but has not once shown off what powers he has or if he's a good or bad guy. If that wasn't bad enough, there apparently is meant to be lore around him going after the main character, but it is easily badly written and timed well. They make these "lore" videos at random and do not set it to go anywhere. It's been more than a year since this mistake was added on and they have done zip with this so-called lore. When writing a good story-arc, it is important to not turn away from it once it is set in motion. Yet even if it's more complicated to progress that quickly, the best you can do is gradually improve it overtime before reaching the climax of it. There is no progress, and nothing changes. Also come to think of it, why does a web series with less than 10 second long shorts need lore?!

In conclusion, I've moved on from this series. If you are someone who agrees with this rant, you should check out a different series that is much funnier and well-constructed, like Land of Boggs. But if you are someone who does like this series besides it's flaws, than don't feel bad because this is only opinions I'm shooting here.

If we're lucky, maybe the creator will take note of what needs to be fixed and maybe help this not be boring anymore. With the possibility of a full length series coming, there could be hope...maybe.
