a son. his father
Kirpianuscus26 August 2022
Conflict father - son. A simple, tempting and seductive theme. Used, in this case, in more than inspired manner.

The sacrifice of innocents changing everything is another significant theme, used, too, in this film as the radical answer of son against his parent.

A life style in danger for the rising sea levels. The refuse of old man to renunce at his 55 years life. The desire of young man to determine his father to make the fair decision with any price. The result is not only a confrontation but the great portrait of clash between two radical different perspectives about life.

The admirable crafted story is completed by acting. Tom Lynn - Carney proposes the precise Liam, superficial and rebel, one with his motocycle , partying with his friends and being far by his father problems. Owen Teale reminds the hope of humble man to build his better future. The illusion, the self lies, the refuge in some certitudes, ignoring reality.

The family hosted at caravan park becomes the answer. Nothing complicated . But reminding, for intensity, characters and end the great American theater.

Short , a film about manners to define the future. Well acted, well story told.
