In this series, transgender people who have undergone and/or are in the process of undergoing gender-confirming surgeries tell their stories. From harassment and discrimination, to the profound relief of finding an affirming medical clinic, these people from all over the country tell their stories in their own voices. With an aim particularly of better educating trans allies and those unaware of the transgender community's struggles, this series will examine what it takes to get gender-confirming surgery in the United States.
