"You did everything you could to take care of her"
skteosk10 September 2009
This episode must break some sort of record with the guest star/ regular ratio.Only six regulars appear(although Jai is credited)and there are two pages worth of guest cast on the end credits.Much of this is because of the introduction of the Walkers who make a decent impact.Indigo seems a typical princess character who will hopefully turn out to have more depth.Jody strikes up a good repartee with Leah so it's a shame she disappears straightaway although hopefully we'll see her again.Sid, the absentee father turned primary carer, could be an interesting character.Dexter seems to be inconsistently characterised, being least affected by the move to the Bay but most affected by Jody's departure, and it'll be interesting to see where they take him.

The other main plot line centres around Rachel's appearance before the hospital board.Tony makes a big mistake in approaching Rex, who seems to be the one driving the complaint. While our sympathies are with Tony and Rachel there's an interesting parallel between them and Rex and Julie, the one trying to protect his wife, the other giving what she thinks is an honest account and trying to protect her career.

Miles, Kirsty, Trey and John float into this episode without really doing much but Kirsty's letter and Trey's desire to visit the hospital seem to be setting things up for the next episode.
