the way of Sophia

Warning: Spoilers
a wonderful choice for Sophia Loren admirers. and interesting support for the viewers of her movies. a beautiful film who impose more than biographic details a special atmosphere.it is not a portrait. only an adaptation for a book about a long and admirable fight, a way in which Sophia Loren impose a powerful and fascinating character - her mother. this fact makes the film different because it represents a touching testimony. a nice surprise is Margareth Made performance. because, using old invincible manner to construct her roles, Sophia Loren - meridional force, strong, convincing, almost pathetic - dominates each scene and the young actress is a good, sure not the best partner. it is not a spectacular film but it could be a nice travel to origins of a really myth. a film like a chain of memories. not extraordinary but more than nice.

Enchanting Classy Mesmerizing
nyobatusa26 July 2021
Enchanting classy stories of 3 women and their unrequited love, relentless search for love, success and happiness. It is a special story in the special times of no digital distractions, more family relationship focused in Italy after the WWII ended. It is a mesmerizing and intimate story especially when a famous actress relives her own mother's story at her later stage of life. Sophia Loren with this special biopic tv adaptation gave her mother the gift that she couldn't give herself, to have a career in acting. She made her a star of this series, the tough but self-less protective mother bringing up two daughters by herself and always putting them first.
