Good Enough

Japanese Drama ' Kikazaru koi Niha Riyuu ga Atte ' is a slice of life drama with some romance and an up to date drama. It has a love triangle that spices up the love story and some family drama to make the main character more relatable. The office story was also pretty entertaining.

The love story, first of all, was cute, realistic but had a speedy pace. It starts early on at the beginning of the drama and, even though the couple had chemistry and their romantic scenes were sweet and enjoyable, the love story somehow lacked intensity. The love triangle was just okay. And the side couple was rushed and had few scenes here and there to justify its' progress.

Other than that, the slice of life genre was spot on. It was sweet and felt cozy as well. Plus, the social media theme was well handled. The rest of the plot lines were nicely embedded into the main one.

As for the performances, everyone did a great job and they were all enjoyable.

So, overall, seven out of ten.

Live how I want, whenever I want, with the person I love.

Is enjoyable, but quite overrated in my opinion.

Starts Very strong and the premise of the female lead being in love for years with her boss and being a workaholic is interesting. Then she gets into a crazy living situation and ends up living with 5 people and a dog, but i don't believe it they took advantage of the potential it had.

The main couple's relationship had a nice beginning and I seemed to notice a good enough amount of chemistry but after the second half plot line started to get messy and I lost interest completely, chemistry were no were to be found.

The majority of the strength of this show is in the moral support and life advices the characters give to each other but romantically I think it has zero watch value.

The series is quite colorful and i liked that centers around the subject of food and people enjoying it. ( Spanish food was very well respectfully represented, I was quite impressed about how accurate all dishes and names, even pronunciation, was of the cuisine, well done!)

This series also remind A LOT of the way they make animes, the way they behave and they act, they even cut the scenes and make the sounds exactly the same and gives me the feeling of watching a real life anime, if you have ever watched one you will know what I mean.

Overall lighthearted and a nice one time watch if you are curious about Japanese point of view.

Loved the characters

There were some really nice scenes in this. I especially enjoyed all the cooking and food scenes, they were really nicely done. There were some great landscapes and such to admire.

I liked the characters as well, they had unique stories I wanted to know more about. The two main leads were really different compared to each other, which really helped give the storyline contrast and conflict.

Sometimes I feel like there was a little too much conflict though. The first half of this series was great, but the second half was just filled with small fights the main couple had, which became slightly frustrating to watch.

I feel like this series also glossed over the toxic behaviors of the male lead, I wish they would have explored that more.

I really liked the ending and how it wasn't left open, like many j-dramas do. But I also wish the ending was a little less rushed.
