- Ridge explodes when Brooke defends Deacon's presence. Douglas catches Paris off-guard by asking a personal question. In front of Carter, Katie and Quinn verbally spar about Quinn's many misdeeds.
- Ridge can't believe that Brooke doesn't want Deacon to go. Brooke explains that Hope wants her father to stay and has a right to know him better. Ridge feels strongly that Deacon is a threat, especially to Hope's children. Deacon tries to explain how he's a changed man, but ultimately he decides that he doesn't want to cause any more problems for anyone. So he says his goodbyes to Hope and leaves. Brooke tries to reach out to Hope, but she is very disappointed in Brooke and Ridge. Paris gets to meet Douglas, who is puzzled by her presence. He asks her if she is his father's new girlfriend, which both Paris and Thomas deny. Douglas is happy to hear that even though Paris won't be moving with them when Thomas buys a new place, she is definitely going to visit. Paris is touched by Douglas's affection. Katie wants Quinn to take at least some of the blame and not targeting the Logans, but Quinn couldn't care less. Katie can't blame Carter for betraying Eric, which provokes Quinn to call her out on her double standards.
