The entire cast and crew of the film worked on the project for over a year for absolutely no charge. For many, it was their first feature film.
Jill, who was originally cast to play Mrs. McGill, suddenly died of brain hemorrhage half way through the production. All her scenes had to be re-shot which caused a substantial delay in completion. She worked for many years as an extra in BBC productions and this was her first opportunity to play a talking role in a film.
