- Nancy takes her fate into her hands after learning the identity of Esteban's other woman; Doug and Silas are plagued by a troublesome deputy; Celia discovers that getting rich quick isn't easy.
- An upset Nancy packs up her things as Esteban tries to explain the hot Mexican woman yelling at him prompting him to call off the marriage is not what she thinks. (Nancy refers to her with a made up word only suitable for grown-ups. Instead of "Mexican" she tacks on a crude word that begins with a "c" that is used to derogatorily refer to a woman. Enjoy the word puzzle!)
He says the angry woman who just yelled at him is only worried about his career, because marrying a foreigner would be bad for the election. He's running for governor. They'll get married after the election, he promises. He says she's someone who has a lot of influence in Mexico. Nancy asks if he's slept with her. He says no; it's even rumored that she has "teeth down there."
Nancy has Shane look the woman up on Wikipedia. She's hooked up to telecommunications and owns half of Mexico. Shane thinks they should leave now. He thinks they're going to wait until she has the baby and then kill them for sport.
Nancy hears noises and goes to inspect. She finds Cesar setting up a "birthing room" for her, including machines and a gurney. He says that Esteban thinks she should have the baby there. "You will never need to leave," he says.
Nancy says she wants to go get a few more things for the room, but Cesar explains that her car is in the shop. Broken tail light. She's trapped.
Celia listens to her new cosmetic pushing friend rave about her fancy lifestyle. There's a $5,000 initial investment fee, which the company will front them on credit. Celia's sold.
At the pot shop, Silas yells at Doug for eating all the merchandise. Pete the cop strolls in, not happy about waking up in his car with a pounding head ache. He thinks from now on he'll come in his civvies so as not to scare off business. He wants an apology. And $10,000 - today. He threatens them with charges of assaulting a police officer.
Andy shows up at Nancy's, under promise that Esteban was killed. It was just a lie to get him there. She tells them about the birthing room, that they want her to have the baby off the grid, where no one will know if it or she go missing. She wants to leave, now.
But Andy says he's done bailing her out and doing so now would set him back weeks in his healing process of getting over her. She offers sexual favors instead.
Andy relents, only slightly grossed out. He goes to wait for her out front.
Celia gives her You're Pretty sales pitch to some mall workers, showing a picture of Isabelle as a "before" and revealing her made-up "after." She looks like a cheap hooker, or the worst drag queen ever. Or a clown. She's lured her mall colleagues with the promise of free samples. They don't want to buy anything, they just want their free stuff. Celia gives in, defeated and swearing. From her point of view, things only get worse when a young mall worker named Danielle takes an interest in Isabelle.
Nancy walks out front to find Andy waiting with the General Lee. The doors are welded shut so he has to help the nine months pregnant woman in through the window. "Whoa, whoa," she says and he wedges her in, "get your hand off my boob." "Deal with it," he says.
At the pot shop, a hot young chick in a bikini comes in wanting a job. Doug fires their swarthy employee so he can get laid. Silas tries to explain you can't fire someone without cause, but gives up. He walks out, saying the partnership is over.
In the car, Andy thanks Nancy for helping him realize what he wants out of life, to sow his seed and carry on the Botwin name. He says he's a catch, dynamite in bed. "The key is to focus where the sidewalk ends," he says. "I know Andy, I'm a girl," Nancy says.
Andy asks how Esteban is in bed, saying he seems like the selfish type, like he might just throw her down on a table. (Which he has.) Andy says that's why they never would have worked, he's not "rapey" enough for her. He still wants his rain check sexual favor, though. He pauses, then says "Oh God." Nancy thinks something is wrong. But Andy tells her he still loves her. Then curses her out, saying she's poison.
Celia comes into the Ren Mar house to find Shane playing Ms. Pac-Man. Nancy told him to go there after school. Celia's sure Nancy will be fine, things always work out for her. Celia flops on the couch, complaining about her feet. Shane rubs her feet. He complains about scary Mexicans while Celia complains about being Willie Loman. Shane wants to move back to the house. He asks Celia if she'll tell his mom she'll take care of him. Celia says she's got enough problems.
Shane tells Celia she should sell something people want, like drugs. Celia demands a drink, and a rub on the other foot.
At the women's clinic. Dr. Audra Kitson (Alanis Morisette) says hi to Nancy, who wants to induce. The doctor says Nancy's two days away from her due date, it's better to wait. Andy lays out the whole father-is-a-drug-kingpin thing in vivid looming death detail. Nancy thanks him for him discretion.
Nancy chokes up, saying she needs the baby out now. She doesn't have insurance, but she has a bag full of cash. Dr. Kitson says they need to call the hospital.
Doug gives officer Pete his graft. Comi-Con is a boon.
Dean drops by, angry at being left out of the business. Silas comes from the back. Dean informs him Silas is dissolving their partnership. Doug says he loves the place too much to blow it up. He just wants a bowl in the morning to get him through the day. They agree. Pete commends them on putting weed before greed.
Then armed men in "Internal Affairs" jackets bust through the door, guns drawn. They make officer Pete get down as well, but not the swarthy employee. He's with Internal Affairs and officer Pete is soooo busted.
Esteban and Cesar bust into the hospital and into Nancy's room. He gets her things and tells her she has to go. Then there's a knock at the door and a nurse wheels in baby Botwin. "My God, you have no idea what you've done," Esteban tells her. She lets him hold their son. They make goo goo eyes at each other. No one is killed for the moment.
