- [to Chrissie]
- Mark Williams: [sarcastically] Welcome to the Awkward Squad. Something tells me you'll fit right in.
- [Chrissie thinks that Mark is paying too much attention to Daisha and has warned Daisha not to give in to her feelings for Mark]
- Mark Williams: We're friends. Or at least, we were until you interfered. Now she doesn't trust me.
- [Chrissie looks disdainfully at him]
- Mark Williams: Oh, I'm not stupid. When she looks at me now, what do you think she sees?
- Chrissie Williams: Well I'm sorry. I didn't want you making a fool of yourself.
- Mark Williams: Well, how the hell do you think I feel now?
- Chrissie Williams: Are you attracted to her?
- Mark Williams: [sighs] Oh, how many more times?
- Chrissie Williams: Well just tell me that there's nothing between you.
- Mark Williams: Of *course* there is something between us. I looked after her through her pregnancy. I helped raise a baby. I picked up the pieces when she had to give it away. I care for her. Maybe I do... love her a little bit. But do you know what I *don't* want to do? I don't want to sleep with her. And what really hurts is that not one person in this whole damn place thinks that I have got the common decency not to want that. Including my own daughter.
