Sound ending of a thrilling story
gerddeiters10 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I found this episode satisfying. It was a wrapping up of the story and besides in the last scene, every character got it's ending within the story. The policemen were not too clever in hunting down the perpetrator, however, he was on home turf and so I understand he had a major advantage. Another review says the two people covered in fuel would have instantly burned. I would like to disagree as the ignition temperature is well above 200C which neither the flares of the angle grinder not the air in the room would have. So, it should not be unrealistic. The story is coherent and I would like to highlight the performance of Mikkel Boe Følsgaard, who portrays Hess. Really good job!

Satisfying ending
Calicodreamin1 October 2021
A good ending to the series, the main storylines are dealt with and the audience is given one tidbit of a cliffhanger. The cops were useless though, which was annoying.

[8.6] "Keep it above your heart"
cjonesas25 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Episode 6: a gripping finale with lots of thrill, courage and incompetence. The events in the farm and the aftermath were the most interesting and after that the music, the void, the sadness and joy altogether.

Superb soundtrack, more than good acting and a little lame ending.

Americans Watching Foreign Shows
setgetsiin8 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Especially police shows: For SOME reason, they believe everything they see on the television and/or will only tolerate "real rules and such" be applied to foreign police forces. (But it's perfectly acceptable to believe in Zombies, Dragons and Games with Thrones, right?) If only changing faces were that easy, right?

I remember once basically telling a friend from the UK that they DO SO have guns, because I see it in all their shows. Surely they wouldn't lie about that right? She laughed so hard she nearly keeled over from loss of oxygen/her COPD. She said, "Do you believe EVERYTHING you see on the telly...?" That was in the late 90s.

The problem is Americans cannot seem to enjoy anything outside the bubble of what is produced in primarily their own country.

So, getting all THAT out of the way: Watch this for the suspense, the twists n turns, YES the foibles (because zombies and dragons are still entertaining, even tho they aren't real), because it's ENTERTAINMENT. Plain simple (yet complex) entertainment.

I *personally* prefer they speak in their own tongue and I read English captions, but this wasn't too terribly distracting: They got actors with accents, and that helped tremendously.

This kept me on my toes, I binged the entire thing, and enjoyed the ride and scenery when it was in view--even just the trees in the credits. Lovely apartments and houses.

Those chestnut men ARE creepy, to boot.

Watch to ENJOY.

Not mind blowing, but worth a try

I was curious about how everything turns out, the wrap up was quite good. But to be honest I didn't get attached to anyone in the show, only cared for children, because grown ups were slightly irritating. Liked the climate and location, some serious topics got brought up, element of surprise present as well. It's not as captivating as I hoped it would be, but definitely decent.

Warning: Spoilers
..that Danish polish are really incapable. When the third woman murdered in the supposedly secret hide out guarded by a single policeman ,noone in the police wandered how the heck the killer new the secret hide out. So the killer must have been someone inside the police.

Opinion changed since Ep 4.
woodvillelite-15 April 2022
Yes the police were sloppy, not too smart. Then to have it all come down to two people to solve the case, who really don't want to be there, seems to be the norm in many shows lately. The lead always has family issues and / or the other partner does. And WHY WHY WHY do the leads always go off on their own in what could be a life or death situation and nearly die.

With all of this put aside, the series was good not great,(if you want GREAT .... see Unforgotten ) and though it kept me really going for most of the time there were just some spots that just made you shake your head.

Doubt there will be another pairing of these two again ... and thats OK.

Suspend belief
perpetual_motion-460976 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
You really have to suspend belief while you're watching this episode (and most of this series). The Police are poorly portrayed, so much so that it's annoying. And are we to believe that two people covered in fuel would not immediately ignite along with everything else in that room? Or that the sparks from the grinder wouldn't have ignited the fuel? Come on now! Wasn't a bad series overall but it was very unbelievable at times.
