I was travelling up to London from Essex from age 11 to nearly 59 years old. It was something I had to do, was not a big fan, dirty, squashed on the dreaded Central Line, but as with most things in life, when it's gone you miss it. Started working from home, and now actually miss the daily routine, so this series in very interesting. Like in episode 2, "Mind The Gap" I know Embankment with well, but never realised that is the only platform I now hear that male voice.

Love Everything Tim Does

I thought series 2 was the end of this show but now looking forward to series 3. They are both enthusiastic presenters but my love for Tim just keeps on growing. He's so enthusiastic about everything and I watch everything he is in. Anyone who lives or travels to London would be surprised at what is under their feet and how it got there or what it is now if it no longer operates as a station.

Some of the places they visit are quite creepy in their abandoned state and quite confined but they absolutely love it and march fearlessly into dark and dingy places where some would fear to tread.

I really enjoy the archives as well. You would never believe that every single tile, piece of fabric and photo would be kept for future generations!

Bit golly gee whizz

Tim Dunn should be a children's TV presenter, its for buffs or folks like me who lived and worked in London for many years and are interested in certain episodes. The presentation is from what seems to be the current style, isn't it all jolly Fun Squishy.

Love it Brilliant show

I love this show it's fascinating seeing all these areas that are abandoned or have been repurposed. Some are extremely creepy and I certainly wouldn't want to visit others look fascinating. I've always been interested in the railways/ underground / architecture so this show hits all three on the head and in informative ways. I like exploring hidden places and having lived in Edinburgh at one stage there are many underground areas to explore in that city. Much of what you see today is built over old streets and homes such as at Mary King Close or the vaults of the bridges. Another review has said Tim is a bit gosh golly wow. Well yes he is but I also love that ! He's just enthusiastic about something he loves and I would much rather have that then just unenthusiastic commentary. I would be wowed by much of the places they go to see. Brilliant show hopefully more to come.

Fantastic ... Bit of Industrial history & travel programme
alexgillmoat-0193529 March 2023
Whilst there have been other series on Railway history, this programme provides such enthusiasm from the 2 main presenters. Both Siddy & Tim are not only well qualified in their subject but are both passionate about the underground and are both really natural presenters, which is rare in this type of documentary/historical type television. The series provide much information, educational material and light entertainment that makes it so moreish. I've had a real interest in the London Underground since I was a small child and, when young (like many others), overlooked the importance of the London Underground in global transport history .. after all it was the first underground system ad continues to evolve to provide a truly amazing city transport network if we take the time and thought to realise it.

Let's have many more series.
