Good Way to End
Lost Tales from Camp Blood Part 6 (2009)
*** (out of 4)
The sixth and final film in the series has our single survivor once again running through the woods trying to get away from our killer carrying a machete. This film picks up seconds after the previous one and finally our hero and killer come face to face for a showdown. If one is completely against this series then it's doubtful you're going to enjoy this one but I rather enjoyed what the series had to offer. Yes, connecting this to the Friday THE 13TH series was rather cheap but outside the title this is a good entry. I thought director Andrew Ceperley comes up with some very good atmosphere and he certainly knows how to stage the scenes very well. There are a couple good death scenes but I will say that the showdown will the killer was fairly disappointing. Once you've spent so much time with these characters you can't help but wish there was a better showdown. I did like the ending and I enjoy that the director allowed the series to end on a certain note.
