Spooky short
Woodyanders12 July 2009
Warning: Spoilers
A young woman (well played with spunky aplomb by the cute Elizabeth Snyder) who's out for an afternoon drive finds herself being pursued by another young lady in a car who looks just like her. Writer/director Robert M. Snyder crafts a dandy oddball yarn that boasts plenty of tension and has a nifty vintage "Twilight Zone"-style mysterious quasi-supernatural bent to it. The fact that the whole story takes place on a bright and sunny day in a disconcertingly familiar cozy suburban setting greatly adds to the overall creepiness. The dizzying sense of constant motion likewise enhances the eerie and unsettling atmosphere. Philip Synder's gleaming color photography and the rattling, rockin', ominous score are both up to speed. A cool and interesting short.
