In the Russian War Room Defence Minister Petrov brings up a picture of US fighter aircraft that he says are "F-16's at Aviano Airbase, fueled and ready to go", When in fact they're F-18's and an E-2 on the deck of a carrier.
During the briefing of the Russian president, a satellite image is shown of fighter planes. The Defense Minister identifies them as "F-16s parked at Aviano Air Base". They were clearly F/A-18s on the deck of an aircraft carrier. Besides, there is a Wing of F-16s always at Aviano, so their presence wouldn't be out of the ordinary.
The so called "F-16s at Aviano airbase" shown on the briefing screen at 16:15 are obviously F/A-18 'Hornet' parked on an aircraft carrier to be identified by their two engines and folded wings.
(The Defense Minister is pushing for war, and may be counting on the Russian President to not know the difference between the aircraft.)
