Back down into the pits of comedy

After a fairly good episode last week (Moving In)..this week, the show dives back down below even mediocrity to disaster. The laugh track has been pumped up to the annoyance level again. We see more of Max, but he is underutilized yet again. The ridiculously stupid bun storyline is insultingly dumb and NOT FUNNY. This week's episode just made me shake my head in wonder. With Jim Parsons and Miranda Hart involved, how could this show be going so wrong? Also...
References to physicial violence by Phil are getting disturbing. Just in this episode:
1. Threatened to rip someone's leg off and slap them in the face with it. 2. Threatened to slice someone like a ham 3. Threatened to reach in and pull out some pastry from someone's insides. 4. Related a story about his mother kicking one of his teeth out.
Max talked about pushing someone off the Eiffel Tower..
Kat related a story about a kangeroo that kicked a man in the groin, and Randi wanted a copy of that video.
Huh? Is this much violence funny? Not in my book.
