The shopkeeper comes out of the store and Monk hands him a couple of bills from his wallet to purchase Christine Rapp's book, telling him to keep the change. Adrian and Christine are watching a rerun of "The Cooper Clan," ostensibly broadcast for the first time about 35 years previous (to 2009). However, the show is shown in modern 16:9 (1.78:1) widescreen format. A regular TV show from that era would have been broadcast in 4:3 (1.33:1) standard format, and would have shown the "pillarbox effect" (black bars on each side of the active frame).
When Christine is walking to her car and answering questions from the press, there are at least two times when her mouth doesn't move even though the audio has her talking.
